Android gains in tablets, Apple slows in third quarter, IDC says Apple'stablet business took famous as consumers "sat out" another quarter pending the iPad Mini, analyst firm IDC said.Android tablets made gains in this way.

The other four vendors ranked throughout the top 5 all gained share around the quarter.
